Grand Opening of Sowers Action Community Center Marks a Milestone in Community Engagement and Learning
Kathmandu, Nepal – May 4th, 2024 – Sowers Action Nepal, a leading non-profit
organization dedicated to sustainable development, disaster relief, education and community
engagement, celebrated a significant milestone today with the grand opening of the Sowers
Action Community Center. The ceremony, held at Jorpati 08, Gokarneshwor Kathmandu,
Nepal, marked the inauguration of the Danio Lau Building, B & V Cafe, and the Winnie Lam
Library, solidifying the organization’s commitment to fostering learning and community
development.
The event was graced by esteemed guests including Winnie Lam, Chief Guest from Hong
Kong, Brianna Hui, CEO of Sowers Action Hong Kong, and Sandra Tam, Volunteer of
Sowers Action Hong Kong. Binay Lama, Treasurer of the Social Welfare Council, also
shared insightful remarks regarding Sowers Action Nepal’s social welfare activities and
extended best wishes for the organization’s continued success.
Sowers Action Nepal, founded in 2022 under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board,
Acharya Pasang Wandi Sherpa, operates as a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious
entity. The organization focuses on addressing sustainable development goals, providing
disaster relief, advancing education initiatives, and fostering community engagement.
Expressing gratitude to all stakeholders, partners, guests, the community, and media
representatives, Chairman Sherpa emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in
